DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that IRIS and UNAVCO Data Service
 s will jointly conduct a Short Course workshop\, prior to the
  AGU 2022 conference\, to be held at the Marriott Marquis Chi
 cago Hotel on Sunday December 11th\, 2022 from 1-5pm in the C
 ulture Room located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Coffee an
 d snacks will be served during a short intermission.\n\nThe go
 al of the Short Course is to discuss and demonstrate tools f
 or data discovery and retrieval that can help facilitate you
 r continued\, uninterrupted access to the wide range of geoph
 ysical datasets and derivative data products that are availa
 ble. Topics that will be discussed include recent enhancemen
 ts made to the Earth Model Collaboration project\, Quality As
 surance tools for verifying data quality\, new tools for seis
 mic metadata creation\, novel approaches to data analysis usi
 ng Jupyter notebooks\, and brief demonstrations of leveraging
  web services to access data. Additionally\, we will provide 
 an update on the current status of migrating the full suite 
 of services and products of our combined facilities into a c
 loud environment.\n\nWe highly encourage attendees to bring an
 y questions regarding data discovery\, access\, and developmen
 t of novel processing workflows to the Short Course. We are 
 excited by the changes that we are making to our infrastruct
 ure and are eager to provide assistance to ease the transiti
 on to the new tools and products.\n\nPlease use the link below
