 The NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCE
 I) and collocated World Data Service (WDS) for Geophysics pr
 ovide data management and access to global tsunami data. NCE
 I/WDS’s Global Historical Tsunami Database includes inform
 ation on over 2500 tsunami events from 2000 B.C. to the pres
 ent. Available data includes information on tsunami sources\,
  tsunami wave heights and socio-economic impacts. NCEI/WDS d
 eveloped an animated\, interactive map displaying global hist
 orical tsunami events since 1850. Combined with a newly deve
 loped\, educational STEM activity\, this interactive web map c
 ould serve as an introduction to historical tsunami events a
 nd associated data for K-12 and general public audiences.\n\nA
