SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Magnetotelluric Studies in Antarctica
DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for Terrane Assembly and Lithospheric M
odification Processes in Antarctica Approached Using Magneto
telluric Geophysics by Dr. Phil Wannamaker (University of Ut
ah) on January 21 at 2:00 PM Eastern.\n\nhttps://zoom.us/webi
 nar/register/WN_bnikblA5Sr-IJg0Un8uUwQ\n\nIRIS is funded by th
e National Science Foundation under the SAGE award to estab
lish a new pool of portable magnetotelluric (MT) instruments
at the PASSCAL Instrument Center — which maintains equipm
ent\, provides training\, and assists in data handling and arc
hival at no cost to Principal Investigators. We will have bo

ilable to potential users in early 2021. \n\nThis webinar is
part of a series designed to highlight the science applicati
ons of MT. Previous webinars are available to view here: Int
roduction to MT\, Magnetotelluric Science Vignettes\, MT Ob
servations in the Cascades Arc. We plan additional webinars
this year\, and inquiries about the PASSCAL MT program may be
sent to andy.frassetto@iris.edu.\n\nAfter registering\, you wi
ll receive a confirmation email containing information about
